Plain-language definition

What is search ads advertising?

Search advertising responds to an explicit query or intent signal. A user sees a concise sponsored result, while the platform coordinates publisher access, eligible demand feeds, bid policy, traffic validation and click reporting behind the response.

Operator guide

What clients should understand before launch.

01

What the user sees

A search ad usually contains a title, destination or display URL and short description. It should be distinguishable from organic content while remaining closely related to the submitted query.

02

How delivery works

The publisher sends a structured request. Nexus validates identity and request context, applies limits and quality rules, selects eligible feeds, normalizes their responses and returns controlled results inside the delivery window.

03

What operators control

Feed profiles, minimum or maximum bids, custom publisher ranges, result limits, timeouts, allowed targets, QPS and blocked-result policy determine which commercial path can answer.

04

Where value is won or lost

A high headline bid is not automatically the best route. Coverage, response latency, click quality, provider deductions and partner-level performance must be visible together.

Frequently asked

Questions about search ads.

No. Search ads respond to explicit query intent and are commonly delivered as structured text results. Display banners occupy a visual placement and are usually bought by impression or click.
